  • The yellow or brown colour of leaves indicate that plant is not getting appropriate water
  • The colour of the soil indicates that plants need water. Wet soil looks darker than dry soil
  • Dropping leaves is the sign of underwater and Watering.
  • By checking the weight of the pot, you can find the water needed by the plant.
  • Moist soil feel having than the dry one
  • You can use the moisture metre to check the dryness of the soil


fertilization

In a garden centre, you can find indoor plant fertilizer. Indoor plants need less fertilization than outdoors. Use specific fertilizer for blooming plants, but you usually can use house plants fertilizer.


Problem of bugs

Buy an insecticidal soap that is available in a spray bottle. There is no need to be more annoying. Whenever you watch bugs, pests on the plant, spray it on the tops of the leaves and undersides. Repeat this process after every two weeks. 3 times spray necessary because this spray doesn't kill eggs which can hatch later. If the infestation is too severe, then throwing up the whole plant is far better.

  • Overwatering, low light, too much light, and negligence are common reasons for dying indoor plants.
  • Prune your plants if it is needed.
  • Search about the species of plant so that you can care for it properly
  • Always put your indoor plant in natural or artificial light.
  • Plant pots should have drainage holes at the bottom.
  • Soil should be mostly not too dry or too wet.
  • Report indoor plants when it becomes too large, no need to repot plants every year.
